The Day of The Dead is a celebration of life and death. Originating in Mexico, but now celebrated throughout much of Latin America and celebrated on November 1 and 2. People create altars and fill them with skulls and skeletons, food, marigolds, and other offerings as a way to celebrate and honor the friends and family they have lost. The holiday is seen more as a celebration of those lives rather than days of mourning. Designed by Holly Adler and part ofr the Hollywood Nutcracker Collection.
